The works that belong to the Psyche projects deal with a wide range of cross-border issues such as mental disorders, identity issues, problems with social skills and social environments, inner conflicts, isolation and oppression. Finally, facing a hostile and violent world full of anger. Some of the work reflects autobiographical elements, as I myself have struggled with mental disorders, prob- lems with social contacts and hearing problems for many years. Art became one of the last ways to get and stay in touch with the social environment around me. However, to avoid these autobiographical elements becoming too overwhelming in a work, they are often presented in a metaphorical way.

Fields of Home
the HEALING
The work focus on the individual in a stage of a desire to find a cure or healing process of a troubled mind caused mental disorders. Faraway and apart from any group or any social environment. The curtains and windows symbolize my problematic disconnection with the social environment and world around. The individual might be in a stage where he is longing for healing but also have to ask himself has the healing process even started or does he subconsciously do not want any healing in the end. Regardless of often not so positive experi- ence with society and the social environments. Nevertheless loneliness can became a trustable and safe environment
the luminous path of a troubled mind
The work focuses on an unseen and non visible issue. The theme and sounds are based and relate to the voices and sounds I've been hearing in my head almost constantly for many years. Caused by medical and mental issues. It's a simple attempt of a field trip into my head and to approach sound and noise from another level and place. Under certain circumtances the sounds and voices in my head are able to create a tempo- rary space in which things behave, act and interact differently, disobeying normal daily rules. My everyday environment beco- mes a ritual space in which dualism's and taken for granted daily matters suddenly collapse, turn upside-down, intersect, resonate with each other: presence-absence, true-false, matter-imagination, perception-hallucination.
