Whole November 2021 I spent in Kathmandu, Nepal in conjunction with SPACE A Art Trust. Again I worked on a interdisciplinary and collaborative project which included several segments with live performances, video, music, workshop and a lecture. What the project distinguished from previous projects is that the collaboration focused on music on sound. Flutist Yahoo Acharay (Nepal) and sound artist Adam Tinkle (USA) were the collaborating artists.
Curator Neda Haffari. The project was supported by Stroom, The Hague, Netherlands.
STOP LOOK GO
STOP LOOK GO was created in cooperation with local female flute player Yajoo Acharya (Bhaktura,Nepal)
The project and the live presentation combine video, music and performance. STOP LOOK GO is a metaphorical interpretation of the city of Kathmandu and the daily life of its residents. The video and musical performance are divided into six chapters.: The Sky The Valley / Windows and Streets / Sunset Sunrise / Transitions / Celebrations / Palaces Squares Gardens.
The premier took place on Sunday November 21st at the Mandala Theater in Kathmandu.
