My video work “Fields of Home” is participating in the:

6th International Video Art Forum in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The forum is organized by the Association of Culture and Arts in Dammam – KSA. and the Cinema Association. The forum will feature works by 56 artists from 29 countries, all contributing to a diverse exhibition of creative video art. The forum will take place in mid-December 2024 at various locations in Dammam, with highlights between December 9 and 18, 2024, for example. It will include screenings at Tek Al-Khabar Cinemas, seminars and workshops, such as a workshop on video art creation using AI.

As part of the OPEN NIGHTS FESTIVAL VOL. 9 with the theme EARTH, two video works of mine, “Fields Of Home” and “structures & patterns” will be shown at the Timeless Museum/Diachronic Museum of Larissa in Larissa, Greece from 19th October to 2nd November 2024, daily from 8:00 am to 20:00 pm.

“a touch of shadows of time and harvest” Project for

ĀBOLOŠANA , Aizpute, Latvia 01.09.-15.09.2024

I created two specifically works and presented an existing work adapted to the site. The two special works include the video work “Ornaments of the Empty Times in Autumn”. The video was shot in the house at Atmodas iela 9, in Misiņkalnaparks and in the rural surroundings of the town of Aizpute. The house itself is a national moment under the care of SERDE. The second site-specific work is the spatial installation “9052” or “a touch of shadows of time and harvest”. The third work was my life performance “The Plant”, which, as I mentioned, was adapted to the space and for a part integrated my installation into the performance. All three works together reflect the themes of time, reflection, transitions, emptiness, standstill and harvest in a broader sense. In addition, all works contain autobiographical elements and thoughts. But beyond that, the terms and titles “Empty Times” and “a touch of shadows of time and harvest” refer to a special time between late summer and early autumn in my personal vision. A phase in the annual cycle characterized by a calm, almost magical, melancholic atmosphere, in which nature comes to rest before autumn begins. This empty time is a phase of pause and reflection, in which nature and life stand still and prepare for the coming change. This period is very short, only a few days, and I wish it would never, ever end... the empty time in between.

"12x12x12+ Nature / Nature Art Cube Exhibition"is a program that seeks to interpret and broaden awareness of nature in various ways of thinking and expression in a 12cm cube. In fact, dealing with nature in a limited space is not as easy as you might think, but on the other hand, because it is a limited space, paradoxically, you may be able to show more imagination. About my cube “Cube 6041” A solid cube made of wood and tree parts. A symbol of stability and compactness in nature. And yet a material that lives, changes, and perishes. It is not a symbol of the cycle of life, but in this case a cube of life. But also a contrast between man-made forms and natural forms

NNOI is open air festival focusing on sound, sound art, electronic and experimental music other “obscure teachings” 

NNOI, will take place in Zernikow and the surrounding area in the Neuruppiner Land in the State of Brandenburg, Germany . The photo on the poster shows the location where my work will be presented on 21st of July between 10am and 2 pm. 

On the occasion of the 9th edition the festival want to deal with the mythical number NINE. 

The concept of 9 X MA is based on the Japanese philosophy of MA. With MA, the Japanese describe the intentional time distance created by a short pause between actions or by the empty space between objects. A distance that is not emptiness or lost time, but represents a special connection.

The exhibition venue is the Spitalseebunker in Schweinfurt's city center. From June 29 to July 21, 2024, KulturPackt will be showing the works and concepts of the selected artists at this fateful location for the city. The range of the exhibition is enormously diverse; it shows large-scale installations, classical painting, video works, sculpture, screen prints and object art. “ESTAR SIENDO" - is a project curated by the visual artist Mercedes Aqui and the multidisciplinary artist, Pancho López, and aims to promote contemporary artistic practices, which are intertwined, in this case, through video performance. It brings together the work of 12 creators from different countries that, on the occasion of International Museum Day, will be presented at the Real de Catorce Cultural Center.

“At Touch Of Eros” at Larissa Timeless Museum, Larissa Greece

The exhibition "Timeless readings of love", inside the permanent exhibition at the Larissa Timeless Museum, reaches the end of its presentation on Sunday, February 4, 2024

Until this date, selected finds related to love are presented for the first time, highlighted through an interactive (marked) connection, related pieces of his permanent collection. At the same time, works by the contemporary Larissa artists Theodore Rantos and Konstantinos Papargyris and the Dutch/German artist Johannes Christopher Gérard are presented. The exhibition-media at the exhibition "Timeless Readings of Love" was created by the OPEN NIGHTS festival for its 8th LOVE-themed event, in May 2023 in cooperation with the Museum, aiming to connect cultural fields, arts and sciences as well as the past with modern reality.

“Dream Plant” goes about a plant that produces colorful dreams.

The video and filmworks with their format of one minute without sound, opens up a dialogue with the viewer and gives artists the opportunity to show films in public spaces.

International Exlibris Competition Varna is a biennial held in Varna since 2014 and has five editions. In the first days of the new year 2024, the exhibition of the International Exlibris Competition Varna renews its journey, and the first stop is the City Art Gallery "Peter Persengiev" in the city of Novi Pazar. The start of the fifth edition of the traveling exhibition was given in September 2023 with a visit of the National Academy of Arts Branch to the Center for Contemporary Art and Library in Burgas. In October, the exhibition was shown at the National School of Arts "Dobri Hristov" in Varna.
